Good citizen urinating only on walls that already smell of piss

Testing the strength of the wall

Delhi: Urinating on public walls is an integral part of Indian culture. While people generally use any wall they see for urination, 26 yrs old Azad Singh makes sure that he urinates only on walls that are already smelling of piss. This is Azad’s contribution towards the Swachh Bharat campaign launched by Indian PM Narendra Modi over 2 years ago.

“When our PM is focusing so much on cleanliness then it is our duty also to contribute wherever we can. Now I can also use any wall I see to relieve myself but as a good citizen, I only use walls that have obviously faced a few liters of human piss. This way, I get to relieve myself and no new place gets dirty”, Azad told Faking News.

“It is our culture to urinate on the side of the road so I can’t abandon it completely but at least I can ensure I am not urinating at a clean spot. All these walls that smell of urine are really old ones as well, so I also check the strength of the wall by urinating on it. We don’t want the wall to fall on some hapless kid some day now, do we? I just use my nose to tell me which spots have a precedent and can be used for reliving myself”, Azad added.

When we asked what will he do if the wall has a message asking people not to urinate there, Azad replied ,”All these messages are always written on walls that already stink of piss so I can’t avoid going there. Should I pay attention to some random guy’s message or to my bladder? I won’t become a donkey if I urinate at a wall but I will definitely look like an idiot if I piss in my pants.”

Azad’s contribution towards this Swachh Bharat initiative will be recognized during the Republic Day Parade as he is set to be honored by the President, Mr Pranab Mukherjee.
